PacketWake Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
PacketWake is a local Wake-on-LAN utility. It is designed to store your wake profiles on your device and send user-confirmed Wake-on-LAN packets to the network target you configure.
Data Collection
PacketWake does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data to the developer. PacketWake does not use developer-operated accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or cloud sync.
Profile Data Stored On Your Device
The app stores Wake-on-LAN profiles in local app storage. A profile can include a device name, group, device type, target IP address or domain, broadcast override, MAC address, UDP port, SecureOn password, notes, retry settings, favorite status, and recent local activity.
PacketWake does not send profile data to the developer or to an app server. If you explicitly export profiles, you control where that exported file or text goes.
Network Use
When you tap Wake, PacketWake sends a Wake-on-LAN magic packet over the network to the configured target. The packet includes the configured MAC address and is required for the app's core function.
Backups
Android app backup is disabled for PacketWake. iOS device backup behavior is controlled by Apple platform settings and the user's device backup configuration.
User Control
You can add, edit, duplicate, delete, import, and export profiles inside the app. Removing a profile deletes it from local app storage.
